Customer Spotlight: The Juilliard School
The Juilliard School, located in New York City, opened in October 1905 as the Institute of Musical Art and has set this country's standard for education in the performing arts. In 1946, the name The Juilliard School of Music became official. The 2004-2005 year marks the school's ninety-ninth season. It continues to represent the finest in performing arts education, growing with and responding to the needs of a thriving cultural community in the U.S. and abroad. Its student body consists of individuals from 43 states and 43 foreign countries.
The Juilliard School selected DigiChat as its exclusive online chat provider to reach out to prospective students giving them the ability to interact with current students, faculty and staff, and alumni.
Our intention is to be more accessible to those prospective students unable to visit our physical campus. The implementation of DigiChat (April 2005) will provide the perfect vehicle for present day faculty and students to share their experiences with future prospects.
- Geoffrey Scott, The Juilliard School, Assistant Director of Recruitment
